The Spice of Life Catering Company has been serving Dallas area businesses and corporations for twenty-five years. With facilities in North Dallas, we are capable of handling large numbers of guests as well as locations without food preparation facilities. We take pride in our quality no matter the size of the request.
Each project receives the care and attention of The Spice of Life principals. The same attention to detail is practiced whether The Spice of Life is catering an extravaganza or simply providing meals. Menus are diverse, imaginative and made with the highest quality ingredients available and prepared with experience and pride by chefs and staff under the watchful eye of award winning executive Chef Rickey Baldwin.
The Spice of Life is a full service catering company capable of providing any rental needs and additional services. Our consultant’s are available to help with party planning or special requests. We are always willing to work to provide the most possible within your budget.

SUE A. KOLLINGER, has had many years of experience in both business and non-profit organizations. She has been a member of the board and large shareholder of a women’s apparel firm, was President of a multi-media firm, President of a cosmetic firm and has owned and managed a restaurant in the Dallas area. She has spent many years in volunteer and community service and spent five years as the Executive Director of the Dallas Memorial Center for Holocaust Studies, as well as, the founding President of the Association of Holocaust Organizations. She was also the National Scholarship Director for the American Friends of Ben Gurion University (locate in B’eer Sheba, Israel). She is owner of The Spice of Life Catering, Inc. and works with Executive Chef Rickey Baldwin. She is a native Dallasite, and has lived in Dallas for the majority of her life. She is the mother of one daughter, three sons and has four grandsons and two granddaughters.
CHEF RICKEY BALDWIN, is a Certified Executive Chef and founded The Spice of Life Catering, Inc. with partner, James Warbuton (now deceased). Born in Texas, Chef Baldwin has mastered Cajun, Old Mexican, and Southwestern regional specialties. He has earned numerous culinary awards for his creative and tasteful food. He is a graduate of the El Centro Culinary Institute and has taken advanced courses at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He served on the Board of Directors of Skyline High School and is an active member of that Texas Chef Association, having been named Contributor of the Year of that association in 1991. Chef Baldwin served for many years as the Executive Chef for the Dallas Women’s Club. Gold Medal Winner in culinary competition, a Master Mason and the President of the local Citywide Brotherhood Union of the Missionary Baptist Congregation, Chef Baldwin epitomizes the professional in both his private and public life.
